We have a six-member Advisory Board acting as an independent supervisory body. It includes two members of the Hoyer family as permanent representatives. An additional member from the so-called third generation has represented it on the Board since 2020. By analogy with the British Chairman model, the shareholder Thomas Hoyer is Chairman of the HOYER Group’s Advisory Board.
The HOYER Group created a neutral entity in the shape of the Advisory Board, whose duty is to ensure the company’s healthy, long-term growth. Accordingly, it has the power of veto in relation to entrepreneurial decisions extending beyond day-to-day business. The Executive Board discusses key financial figures, strategy, opportunities and risks with the Advisory Board. Both governing bodies share in decisions for the logistics specialist’s successful long-term corporate development.
