Hamburg – February 27th, 2012 – Since mid-February HOYER has been using heatable intermediate bulk containers (IBC) for the first time to airfreight foodstuffs that perish easily.
The high-tech 1,000-litre containers are distributed to consignees through the Fraport logistics centre. This means we can guarantee the fastest freight times to the most distant destinations.
On the Hamburg -Frankfurt -New Delhi route, IBCs generally reach their journey’s end within 72 hours. In February, transport of an IBC filled with chocolate coating was accomplished within just 36 hours.
Using air transport in modern, heatable IBCs, HOYER can ensure quality, even for carriage of highly perishable foodstuffs.
HOYER offers its clients rapid transport solutions with IBCs to overseas destinations.
