Management change in the Executive Board of the HOYER Group

Gerd Peters resumes the position of Chief Financial Officer

 

Hamburg, 7 December 2018 – Gerd Peters has resumed the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the HOYER Group with effect from 3 December, thus continuing his long-standing career in the company. Peters forms the Executive Board of the Hamburg-based international logistics company, together with Ortwin Nast as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Gerd Peters, to whom overall responsibility in another company group of the Hoyer family was transferred at the start of the year 2018, has now been recalled to his previous position as CFO of the HOYER Group. Advisory Board Chairman Thomas R. J. Hoyer says, “Gerd Peters is greatly appreciated, both by us and by our employees. We are delighted that he has resumed the position of CFO.” Peters adds, “I share a long-standing, trusting collaboration with the Hoyer family, the Advisory Board and the Executive Board Member. I am very pleased that I will be able to continue shaping the company’s future.”

Dr Philip Nölling joined the HOYER Group as CFO in February 2018, and leaves the company again to devote himself to another task. According to Thomas R. J. Hoyer, “Dr Philip Nölling has made an important contribution to the company’s development in the past months. We thank him for his dedicated efforts.”
