Dangerous Goods

Dealing with hazardous goods is an integral part of our business (75% hazardous goods in Europe), therefore one of our top priorities is the implementation of the ADR (European agreement on international carriage of hazardous goods by road), the RID (for transports by rail) and the IMDG Code (for transports by ship).

The Dangerous Goods Advisor is a member of the SHEQ team and co-ordinates the dangerous goods acitivities within the HOYER Group. Thus guarantees a standard implementation across Europe.

He also provides trainings on ADR, RID, IMDG and national regulations for our own drivers and those of subcontractors, for operators and for office employees. In addition he ensures all the relevant managers are informed about new requirements and monitors their correct implementation.

Safety and security are important factors in minimizing theft or misuse of hazardous goods that may endanger people, property or the environment.
