Günter-Friedrich Maas New Director of Business Unit Chemilog

Hamburg - Günter-Friedrich Maas (39) has taken over the management of the Business Unit Chemilog at the HOYER Group as from the beginning of this year. This business unit not only manages the entire flow of goods for customers in the chemical industry, but also the corresponding flow of information – throughout Europe. Effective supply chain management guarantees a high quality of supply and constant logistical optimisation of the entire transport chain. 

Maas is taking over from HOYER’s CEO Ortwin Nast, who has been in charge of the unit in addition to his duties as CEO over the past few years. Maas joined HOYER three years ago as Director Region Central and was most recently also responsible for intermodal transport and sales. In addition, he is the managing director of HOYER Nederland BV, Rotterdam. 

He acquired his thorough knowledge of the business at Rhenus Logistics and the Den Hartogh Group, where he held executive positions.

Maas is particularly keen to further strengthen the Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) sector of the business unit, in order to offer HOYER’s customers more additional logistical services along the value added chain.
